Our grounds are located in Pierce Avenue, Caloundra, just up from Corbould Park Race Track.
Our facilities include our club house, sand arena, round yard, day yards and of course our famous cross country course. We have ample grounds for general riding and jumping courses. Our cross country course can be booked by other clubs - please contact our secretary for more details.
Our Club over the next year will be revamped with our riding grounds being upgraded, a new club house and toilet facilities. Once these are completed, new facilities such as a lighted undercover dressage arena and stables will be erected. It is exciting times for our club with much new growth to look forward to.
We have approximately 60 active members with a strong attendance at our fortnightly musters. These musters are held on the first Saturday and third Sunday of every month. This year we have been inviting outside instructors to our musters to give our children the opportunity to explore different types of riding. We often invite other clubs to these musters and if you are interested in attending please contact our muster coordinator via our email address .
Our chief Instructor is Bette Harden who is a lifetime member of our club. Bette has been with Caloundra Pony Club for many many years and has a wealth of knowledge to pass onto our riders.
At Caloundra Pony Club we believe in nurturing our young riders so as they may continue on in later years to compete at competition level, whatever their choice of riding. We encourage our riders to experience all areas of riding and support their efforts.
Recently we have obtained 300acres for agistment just near Sattlers Road in Caloundra. This facility is under construction at present with all paddocks being 2acres in size, have electric fencing, stables, riding arena and trail riding facilities.
